Yes joining sooner rather than later is a good idea, because we are going to be very busy at launch.

Apparently this thread is now about how unlucky we got when we hit the "random" button on the character creation screen. cool

So on topic... Serenekaos, how are those hair curlers working out for you girlfriend? wink

And Alexander, You got something right there... Yeah just there on your chin... May want to wipe that off. tongue

I might be interested in joining up with you guys on early access -- seems you're about the only serious PvP group that isn't ECorp.

Mind you ecorp isn't a pvp corp. They are more industry/pve/ratting oriented, with some dabbling in PVP. If you (Not directed at the poster) like PVE more than PVP, then ecorp is more the type of corp to join.

XrayIT: Some other pvp corps have been popping up thankfully. Some zerg oriented, some skill oriented. We're not the only pvp corp around anymore. We're just the most well established and oldest pvp corp around.

Your trolling is weak sir. Have Siddy give you a few lessons. wink

Yeah I understand what Vorgrim means. It's essentially using multi accounts with ep to give one character via transfers all the ep from all the accounts. Simple solution as I posted some time ago, is to wipe all stored ep on an account where a character is transferred to. Problem solved.

As much as I would "LOVE" to step on newbies in a destroyer mech. I could see that causing issues all it's own. (Lag, no not it causing lag, but rather lag causing you to step on your own teammates.) As for the friendly fire idea, I don't care for the idea, but can't really think of any negative factors besides it being annoying and causing a bit of lag.

Latcherx made this map nearly a month ago, and with the change to the name of geingrosh to norhoop, I figured I'd better post this before it's too late to recognize the map. Such a hilarious piece of art should not be forgotten on one of my hard drives.

A loss of the best GM Perpetuum had. sad

But a gain of another great full-time player. smile

I really like this idea. Helps with planning ahead somewhat.

Also, your gropho opponent failed.

You can't "fail" this situation Siddy.

He hit me 100% of the time. (A few individual missiles missed, but the volleys always hit.) As I was chasing him. And he never got close to breaking the tank. I'd have been royally screwed if it was a mesmer or seth.

Dred, your thinking is short sighted.

The terrain negation and proper range will make missiles THE weapon of choice, when you fight in large numbers.

Congrats, you now have a long range weapons, with decent accuracy, that do so little damage due to having to replace tunnings with range extenders, that my local rep can out repair it. I say that somewhat jokingly, but ask that ecorp member that shot at me with his gropho for 15min as I chased him, and he never broke my single rep tank. And he "had" tunings. Now imagine that same gropho, with almost half the dps.

Sure gropho "gangs" are decent. But you'd be much better off with a Seth sniper squad, or a mesmer steamroll squad.

PS: Now that I think of it, it may have been a DXM member.

Aww, I missed it, what did he say that had to be edited? Usually it's only M2S members that get edited.

Well, all gropho needs is the old range back.

There is no better big gang mech than gropho/tyranos.

I disagree siddy. The gropho needs more than a bit more range. It really is inferior to other weapons on many many levels. Not just range. I'm ok with them being lower damage, but they need more offsets to make them on-par (Or hell, even close) to the usefulness of other weapons.

your corp is like a bargin bin in a movie rental store, full of bad games and VHS's.

Actually, we're only taking the members you had that were genuinely decent at the game. (Yeah I know it's hard to believe that you had some.) That and the irony of having all your previous members shoot at the rest of you is so beautiful it almost brings a tear to the eye.

I have to admit, I would love to see at some point before launch, a short period with free bots/equipment, and no safe zones. Just a total free-for-all for the entire server. It would be a great final event prior to launch. And I'd imagine fun for everyone.

Yeah yeah, it's off topic, but ImCoolerThanYou had a great idea.
