Topic: Kernel Researching

You should be able to see the number of required kernels for each item. Maybe a drop down box where you select the kernel type then it displays the total number.

Re: Kernel Researching

Perhaps the ability to gear kernel research towards a particular item, as well?

Re: Kernel Researching

That's not how it works. Every time you research a kernel, there is a random factor of which item and how much percentage will be added to your knowledge base. Kernels take these data from so called techlines, which contain all the items of a particular faction or technology (for example laser weapons) and the research result is derived from this pool.

Re: Kernel Researching

Any possiibility on a small tag or tatto added on the graphic of an item to dipict its relating decoder level that is required - i know its anal but at a glance saves having to do the right click/ components  hike every time. Also maybe a secondary tree in the knowledge base that has all fully researched items seperated.
