Topic: Salvage rates fro packaged stuff.

Right now, if bot goes boom, the drop rate for its content is same for all items it carriers (?)

I propose that Packaget items have hig, over 50% survival rate when bot goes boom.

Why?

This will make pirating actualy a proffession that is profitable, since industrials want to stuff maximum cargo capacity, hence packagin stuff.

Also it is makse sence RP vice, stuff that is in neat package and all, got beter chanse surviving possible boom that assembled stuff.

I second this idea. Having to bring a sequer on a PvP trip would be fantastic.

/signed- To underscore your statement about survivablility of packaged stuff, I have worked in the transportation industry. You would be amazed what the product you see in a store goes through from the dock to the store. -V

LoL, I just got off-topic idea while reading... what if you won't be able to get any of «entire» module after you "boom" bot?

Example.

You kill bot, without special equipment you cannot withdraw modules that survived. Only «parts». (dunno what parts, for example some spare parts of guns, etc.).

If you got engineering module that can remove modules, you can get your "trophy" (of course damaged because of «boom»).

But this «part» feature will be useless if devs get other plans for industrial system.

Re: Salvage rates fro packaged stuff.

Sounds like the salvaging mechanic from 'that other game'.

Re: Salvage rates fro packaged stuff.

I know «salvaging mechanic» from EVE online and if you remember there you were salvaging additional part that used in production.
Also salvaging system in EVE sound like from 'that other Korean game'
